Function as the lead IT staff and provide guidance in development of priorities within the department. Function as HIPAA Security Officer, participate on HIPAA Compliance Committee. Configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network systems, switches and documentation of network performance, problem identification and resolution, submit quarterly performance and recommendation reports to QI. Complete quarterly HIPAA compliance audits, submit to QI and Corporate Compliance. Maintain updated schematics and inventory of Network and backup systems and or problems identified. Development and maintain Network information resource guide for all network documentation resources to be accessible by IT, QI and Corporate Compliance. Maintain documentation of all access and or breaches to Network and or Network systems and report. Maintain and update ‘EHR software, document changes and updates and develop basic training manual for new staff. Development, maintain and test disaster recovery plan annually or more frequently as needed. Maintenance of Virtual Networks systems and VOIP systems and respond to IT help tickets. Function as UNIX system administrator/manager archive and manage backups.
Associate's degree in computer field or related area required. Working knowledge of computer systems, software/hardware and LAN/WAN networks expected. Must have at minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in IT or a related field. Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and good driving record.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field Skills: working knowledge of current EHR systems, VMware, HIPAA Security rules, VOIP operations CARF standards and extensive knowledge in network layouts Experience: 2 years experience in related field Licensure/Certification: A+ certified (Computer Hardware)
