Counselors needed for a large human service organization servicing Southeastern Ohio. Responsibilities include completing assigned clinical work such as: individual and group support treatments; conducting and completing client assessments, diagnosis, reviewing and planning as per agency policies and procedures while securing client participation; assisting individuals with achieving objectives and maximizing independence; coordinating and assisting with crisis intervention, stabilization and referrals; serving as leader in a clinical team to establish and maintain professional relationships with clinical and support staff; documenting service delivery for audit requirements; and providing additional services and programming as assigned.
These positions are full-time, temporary-to-direct, hiring ASAP. The schedule will likely be Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. though some evenings/weekend hours will occur. The pay is commensurate with qualifications and the company provides comprehensive benefits upon direct hire.
Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a good driving record. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency. Degree in social work or counseling preferred. Priority candidates will be dually credentialed. CDCA, social work trainee or counselor trainee licensure required, but a professional counselor (PC) or licensed social worker (LSW) preferred. Experience working with child/adolescent population preferred.
